Following in the example set by the Mass Effect Mash-up released in September, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is getting an Elder Scrolls V: Skryim expansion.

According to the official Bethesda blog, the add-on will be priced at $3.99 (£2.69/€3.79) and includes: "a Skyrim-themed texture set, 40 character skins, themed menus and user interface, craftable items, and more than 20 iconic selections from the original Skyrim soundtrack."

The DLC is wholly cosmetic, meaning this will not affect the normal Minecraft gameplay. No release date has been announced, but Microsoft says the add-on is "coming soon." And attendees at MineCon 2013 will be able to try out the game firsthand this weekend.
