The 1990s are officially back. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has confirmed that it will be releasing SingStar 90s, exclusively for the PlayStation 2, this August. The original SingStar game was released on the PS2 in 2004, and previous editions of the karaoke game include Anthems, Legends, and a 1980s edition.

In order to recreate what Sony calls "the true essence of what it was like to live in the 90s," the game features 30 tracks from a variety of genres, complete with their original videos. Players are scored according to their pitch, tone, and rhythm--the better the singing, the higher the score.
