She-Hulk's Season Finale Has A Pretty Cool Cameo That You Missed

She-Hulk director Kat Coiro revealed a surprising cameo from the show's final episode that most fans missed.

Now that She-Hulk's first and potentially only season has come to a close on Disney+, we've seen just how massively the series wanted to break the fourth wall. While there were moments of Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) breaking the fourth wall in each episode, it all paled in comparison to the season finale.

Warning: The following contains spoilers for the final episode of She-Hulk. If you haven't watched it yet, you should turn away now.

In the episode, Jennifer doesn't just talk to the camera but breaks out of her show and, by hopping into another tile on the Disney+ menu, finds herself in the offices of Marvel Studios. There she visits her own show's writer's room to complain about the ending, meets the real "Kevin" behind all of Marvel's hits, and also manages to sneak in a pretty funny cameo almost nobody in the audience would have noticed. Upon entering the Marvel Studios offices, which are located on the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, Ca., Jennifer is greeted by a receptionist who asks her to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Speaking to GameSpot, She-Hulk's director confirmed that the receptionist is, in fact, the actual Marvel Studios receptionist.

"The receptionist is the real receptionist and we had him audition along with a bunch of actors and he was the best and we really wanted for anybody who's ever been there for them to go, 'Hey, this is all real,'" she explained.

What's more, the NDA's mentioned are not something made up for the show. "It's funny, because it seems like it's a joke, the NDA, but it's actually not a joke," Coiro said. "It's actually what happens when you go there."

So if you're never lucky enough to actually visit Marvel Studios yourself, this episode isn't a bad consolation prize. After all, they actually filmed these scenes on location at the office. And while it looks great, with Iron Man armor decorating the lobby and extremely cool art on the walls, Coiro admits that shooting in the studio's actual office is "definitely tight." After all, it was built to house an office, not to be filmed in.

All episodes of She-Hulk are available to stream now on Disney+
