The final piece of downloadable content for Lord of the Rings game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, called The Bright Lord, is now available across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC.

Warner Bros. and developer Monolith announced the release date today, and also published a new trailer for the content which you can watch above.

In The Bright Lord, gamers play as Celebrimbor (utilizing the power of the One Ring to your benefit, of course) and will face off against Sauron, the Dark Lord of Mordor.

The DLC introduces a new story campaign featuring ten missions to take on where you'll battle new "Elite" Nemesis enemies and warchiefs. This all culminates in the final showdown against Sauron.

The Bright Lord also adds a new character skin (Celebrimbor) for the main campaign, as well as a new Challenge mode where you can play as Celebrimbor and square off against high-level enemies. This is the only way to get Level-30 Runes, Monolith notes.

For lots more on The Bright Lord, check out GameSpot's interview with Shadow of Mordor design director Michael de Plater, who said the DLC is "quite a lot tougher" than the main campaign.

Shadow of Mordor is available today across Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. The Bright Lord is included with the game's $25 DLC pass or can be purchased by itself. The expansion follows previously released add-ons Guardians of the Flaming Eye and Lord of the Hunt.
