Some of the games coming to PS Plus Extra in September have been leaked. They include Nier Replicant and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.

The leak comes from the Dealabs user Billbil-Kun, who regularly leaks PS Plus games ahead of Sony's official announcements. They claim the official announcement of these games will come on September 13. The report describes the leaked games as headliners. Although more games may be coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium this month, these appear to be the most significant additions.

First up is Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139..., the remake of the cult classic action RPG. After the runaway success of Nier Automata, this overhaul brought the original game to a new audience. The next game is the strategy/visual novel hybrid 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. This painterly sci-fi game follows 13 POV characters who are all caught up in the same mech-fueled mystery. Star Ocean: The Divine Force is also being added to the PS Plus Extra lineup. This is the latest title in the long-running Star Ocean franchise. Other games joining Extra and Premium include the epic strategy game Civilization VI, the stealth-shooter Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 and the hit indie puzzle game Unpacking.

The first PS Plus game of September, Saint's Row (2022), leaked ahead of the official announcement via the same source. The game's inclusion was later officially confirmed confirmed as part of the Essential tier.
