Sega.com has announced that Capcom will be utilizing the Sega Network Application Package (SNAP) to integrate online play into the North American version of Auto Modellista. The company will help Capcom create a network environment for the game and assist in the operation, maintenance, and hosting of servers.

"SNAP has been the technology backbone for many of the leading Sega console games," said Ryoichi Shiratsuchi, CEO of Sega.com and general manager, network business division, Sega. "We are very excited to be working with Capcom on this project, which combines an industry leading game and gaming console and network technology to offer players a seamless online gaming experience."

The North American version of Auto Modellista is scheduled for release in March 2003.
