See Killer Instinct's Unannounced Vampire Character in Action

Tusk gets his own highlight video and then gets shown up by another new character.

An extended version of a Killer Instinct trailer first released earlier in March has debuted, with the additional footage teasing a new, as-of-yet unannounced character.

The first 1:40 or so of the video above plays out just as it did previously, showcasing Tusk, one of the four launch characters for Season 3 of the fighting game. The final 15 seconds, all of which is new, teases a new female character that looks to be some kind of vampire. She attacks Tusk, launching him into the air and then biting him on what I assume is supposed to be his neck, but instead looks to be his chest.

Regardless, this is our first look at the mysterious new character, who is as of yet without a name. It's likely to turn out to be Mira, the sister of series mainstay Maya. Mira's name was recently leaked alongside Gears of War's General RAAM as an upcoming character. We already know two characters from other game franchises--Halo's Arbiter and Battletoads' Rash--are coming to the game.

Season 3 launches on March 29. It'll be available for $20 on both Xbox One and PC and includes a total of eight characters, four of which will be available at launch: Arbiter, Rash, Tusk, and Kim Wu.
