Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 releases in theaters on May 5, but fans can watch the MCU movie a couple days earlier as part of a "marathon" event that also includes the first two movies.

On May 3, two days before the film opens widely on May 5, people can attend an IMAX event featuring Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2., and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Tickets are priced at $45, which works out to about $15 per movie.

You can buy tickets to the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 marathon event at Fandango. The full event clocks in at 6 hours and 48 minutes, so prepare yourself for a long haul.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 releases on May 5, 2023. For more, check out a breakdown of who's who in the gallery below. The movie is expected to bring about an end to the current iteration of the Guardians of the Galaxy, but of course Marvel could continue the series with a new cast later on if it chose to.

Dave Bautista, who plays Drax, has spoken about wrapping up his time with the series. He said he's relieved, in a way, to be done with the franchise.

"I love him," he said about Drax. "But there's a relief [that it's over]. It wasn't all pleasant. It was hard playing that role. The makeup process was beating me down. And I just don't know if I want Drax to be my legacy--it's a silly performance, and I want to do more dramatic stuff."

Outside of the Marvel series, Bautista is lobbying to Netflix to cast him as Marcus Fenix in the Gears of War movie. As for the MCU, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be followed up by the Secret Invasions TV series in June and then the movie The Marvels in November.
