Seablade ships to retail
Simon & Schuster announces that its futuristic arcade shooter for the Xbox should be in stores in time for the weekend.
Simon & Schuster Interactive has today announced that Seablade has been shipped to stores in North America and should be on the shelves by the weekend. The game, which was developed by San Diego-based Vision Scape Interactive, is a futuristic arcade shooter in which players pilot an aircraft that can also function underwater.
The game is set on Earth in the year 2350, when a massive subterranean earthquake has brought about volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and the melting of the Greenland ice sheet--in short, the world is a very different place with much higher ocean levels. The single-player game will include 30 increasingly difficult levels set in different parts of the globe, as well as three boss fights against feudal overlords. Seablade will also feature multiplayer support for up to four players in modes like deathmatch, cooperative, and boss bash.
Seablade should be available in stores across North America by the weekend. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
