SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays DLC Adds New Iconic Units And Higher Difficulty
Buckle up, Gundam pilots. The latest SD Gundam G Generation DLC brings Inferno difficulty, new units and more.
Gundam pilots everywhere can now rejoice. The new SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays DLC is now available, adding a higher difficulty and units to your gameplay experience for $7.99.
Existing owners of Bandai Namco's SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays will be able to purchase the latest expansion pack on Steam. The game currently includes units from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans.
Those wanting more bang for their tactical buck can expect the following features from the new Cross Rays DLC:
- A new “INFERNO” difficulty mode as well as new modifications and character abilities
- Five new expansion stages
- “G Generation” series original units Halphas Gundam, Halphas Böse, Halphas Böse Halberd and Master Phoenix
- "G-generation" series original characters Aplodia, Code Amelias, Amelias, Code Phoenix
- A new quest and group dispatch mission
Alongside the latest DLC is the release of the Version 1.60 update, which is free for all players. Regardless of whether they purchase the new DLC, existing owners of the title will be able to enjoy an increase in the level cap, new character appearances, and also new voice acting.
Bandai Namco's latest announcement for the paid Cross Rays DLC and confirms that the second Spring 2020 update has also introduced the ability to customize your background music in-game, along with some overall quality-of-life improvements to search functionality and other minor tweaks. This update has come to the PS4 and Switch versions of the game too—but right now neither version is available outside Southeast Asia
