Update: This discount is no longer available.

War never changes, not even in the grim (and dark!) future of humanity, but commerce is adaptable. Especially when there's a business deal to be made in a backwater quadrant that's home to the very worst monsters of the cosmos. Having just launched, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader has gotten its first discount on PC. Over at Fanatical, you can save 17% on the game by using the promo code FANATICAL17, dropping the price of the game from $50 to $41.50. This deal is only for the PC version, but Rogue Trader is also available on Xbox Series X|S and PS5.

This is only for the standard edition of the game, but it still has a lot of content for you to explore. Taking place in Warhammer 40K's Koronus Expanse--an uncharted region of the Imperium filled with all manner of nasty creatures--it'll be up to you explore this stretch of space and opportunities for profit. Every decision has a consequence in this CRPG based on the popular tabletop game, and for anyone looking for something similar to Baldur's Gate 3 but more complicated, Rogue Trader might scratch that itch.

It's worth noting that the game does have several bugs crawling around it, but like most modern game releases, these could be addressed in future updates. At the time of writing, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader has a generally positive aggregate review score of 75 on GameSpot's sister site Metacritic. If you're looking for some help in the game, you can also check out GameSpot's Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader guides.
