Samsung's Newest, PS5-Compatible SSD Is $100 Off Ahead Of Prime Day 2023

Multiple models of Samsung's 990 Pro NVMe SSDs are heavily discounted at Amazon.

Prime Day 2023 isn't officially until next week, but a bunch of great tech and gaming deals are already available at Amazon, including a sale on Samsung's 990 PRO NVMe SSD that brings the 1TB drive down to just $70 (normally $170).

The 990 PRO is Samsung's newest internal NVMe SSD, and features super-fast reads peeds that are perfect for gaming. The drive supports both PC and PS5, however PS5 users will need buy and attach a compatible heatsink to use it with the console. You can either buy a heatsink-equipped 1TB 990 Pro, which is on sale for $99 (normally $150), or buy a supported third-party option, like this heatsink from DAMOCO that's discounted to $11.95 (normally $16).

If you need even more storage space, the 2TB 990 Pro model is also on sale for just $162.64 (normally $290), or you can grab this version with a pre-installed heatsink for $180 (normally $240).

These are pretty great deals on Samsung's NVMe SSDs, but they're just a few of the many PC and PS5-compatible drives on sale at Amazon right now.
