@Prime_28 With the next gen consoles running on x86 architecture, there's no reason not to port games to PC. It will be huge step forwards for PC. There won't be any reason for games like Red Dead to come to PC, since porting will be very easy.

@PrplMnkyDshwsr7 I would view the release of RDR on PC in the wake of GTAV as a troll maneuver on rockstars part lol.

@pongley @jimbo6923 Right. You are not allowed to resell gog games. That's a common misconception of the whole DRM discussion I fear. There is no classical "ownership" of all-digital games, nowhere, not even on gog.

Stream's "DRM" is unobtrusive. I can play my games online or off and it doesn't get in the way at all. And you own your games just as much as you own your games from GOG.

Don't buy digital at all (and that goes for movies, music and books) if you care about easily selling your stuff.

@Microsteve They are made on PC, but with very specific specs in mind. To program for the PC market they need to make many optimizations to achieve good performance on different scenarios, cause people have many different machines, with many different hardware and sofware.

I've never cared about such things. I have far more games in my library than I have time to play them. Having a game be available a bit later on my preferred platform isn't an issue at all, especially since I know it will be the best version once it does become available.

@d4ny3L16 Who cares? Many games I play weeks or months after release either way, just because I don't have time at release, because I don't want to pay full price for a game or even just because I'm busy playing the games from my huge Steam and Gog backlash.....

And Steam summer sale is coming soon which won't make my games collection any smaller I guess.... :P
