Nowhere do I use the word vastly or anything remotely close to that. I see a lot of comments from you basically saying bobodeclown is correct because my source of games comes from IGN. The fact that you don't like the source and that you think developers are lying about framerates and rez is opinion at best. Frankly it lies more in the realm of preposterous but that's just my opinion as well.

You cannot simply say a source is unreliable simply because you think it is. Show me evidence that the source is unreliable.

He listed specs from unnamed sources. Specs of only a few components. There is more to a game system than the RAM, CPU and GPU. A lot more. These are just 3 of hundreds of components any and all of which have an effect on the overall performance of the system. You cannot look at 3 pieces of hardware, say one is faster and conclude that the overall system is better.

What about HDD read/write speed and seek time? What about # of CPU threads? Cache size? Peak shader throughput? System memory bus? Memory bandwidth? All of these and many more variables affect overall performance. You can't just say the Xbox One has a higher clocked CPU therefore it processes data faster. There is a lot more to it than clock speed.

He knows nothing about these systems other than the basic info he gets from Wiki and similar sources. He knows nothing about the engine that's used in this game. All he has is 3 most basic specs of 3 pieces of hardware components and 1 current gen multiplat game that uses this engine to base his assumptions on.

In short, he has no clue as to why this game is performing as it is let alone which console is superior at doing any task be it multitasking or rendering graphics. He lists numbers which really is saying nothing at all.

<< LINK REMOVED >> lol, once again, I am not refuting your numbers. I'm saying your numbers are incomplete and the ones you do have, show the PS4 has an advantage. The only thing the Xbox One has an advantage of in your list of numbers is clock speed of the cpu. Everything else, the PS4 has the advantage when it comes to rendering graphics.

Again, you listed a bunch of specs without explaining what those specs mean. And, you've ignored the bottlenecks present that can adversely effect those specs. The internal clock speed of the CPU doesn't do you much good if your bus speed can't transfer the data to the CPU fast enough to make that clock speed effective. Do you know how many clock cycles the CPU spends waiting for data? That is just one of hundreds of little variables that must be considered.

You keep coming up with the same stupid argument. "Are you claiming my specs are wrong?" No I am not. I ONCE AGAIN am claiming your specs are meaningless and incomplete. And do not show the whole picture. There is so much more to these systems than the 3 pieces of hardware you keep bringing up.

And you've blatantly ignored the list of games I’ve given you that show the PS4 outperforming the Xbox One. It shows a clear and obvious trend in performance. You simply can't pretend it isn't there or say the source is unreliable simply because you say it is.

Games are running better on the PS4. What is the point in posting numbers? Anyone can do that. Understanding what those numbers mean is a totally different thing.
