How can they even think not including main story in $60 price tag is a good idea? We should stop encouraging these bullshit ideas.

...and with that, what little faith I had for RE7 has gone out the window. I'm sick of prices going up for games. The deluxe edition has content that SHOULD be in the standard edition.

Capcom is 7 months early with their April fools joke. Please tell me they are kidding lol? Preordering games is already a red flag, but forcing us to buy the $80 deluxe version to get the full experience is like someone spitting in your face. It's not cool Capcom. My excitement for this game on a scale of 10 went from an 8 down to a 3.

The Deluxe addition adds another episode to the main game? So the game is incomplete at its base? Good to know. Notice that I didn't mention side stories, because that's what extras are supposed to be in a game whose narrative is central to the experience.

the only devs/publishers that shouldn't be ashamed to do their job are indie-devs/publishers. day 1 dlcs, season passes, it's all so bad. so bad :( maybe i'll stop buying "big" games altogether. Uncharted 4 was very disappointing, Dark Souls 3 has amazing gameplay, but the world progression also feels very tedious after a relatively short while. And with the last update Dark Souls 3, like any other piece of $hit game, now has a menu point called "purchase Add-ons". It's not even small and at the bottom. It's right in the freaking middle and other than all the other menu points it's in capital letters so it sticks out so i can see it everytime. And yes, i see it freaking every time. What happened? Just what the hell happened? Dark Souls of all games. Like one of the last major games to be focused on good gameplay goes ahead and does this.

How they manage to **** up this franchise so badly no1 knows. I doubt this 1 will redeem the series

Looks like the Ubisoft'd the game. Won't preorder (measly, pitiful attempts at splitting content among the playerbase) and chances are now I'll wait weeks or months until the price drops because if all the developer sees me as is a walking wallet, then I can treat the developer likewise and ensure they don't get anywhere near what they expect (if anything at all) from me.

And people continue to argue and wonder about these idiotic marketing schemes for the past 15 years.

I'm buying Resident Evil: Biohazard day one but I sure as hell ain't pre-ordering shit until I read the reviews first before the game launches.

This is the kind of pre-order bonus I like to see, it gives a slight advantage to early adopters while people that didn't pre-order don't feel like they're missing anything. I'm not counting the Deluxe Edition it sucks when they exclude story content.

THIS is how Resident Evil must remain, just give us REmake 2 already and a proper RE7 game, not this dull, generic hiding simulator alias Amnesia/outlast clone.
