One of the perks of the GTA+ subscription is access to a rotating catalog of free games, and now the library has updated with the latest free game. Rockstar's acclaimed 2010 western Red Dead Redemption is now included with a subscription to GTA+.

Not only is the base game included but also the Undead Nightmare expansion. Everyone who has an active membership to GTA+ on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S can grab the game now for free.

It's a relatively easy-sounding process to claim the game. After ensuring you're a GTA+ subscriber and logged into the console account you used to sign up for the membership, simply find Red Dead Redemption on your preferred storefront and click "Install with GTA+" or "GTA+ download."

GTA+ subscribers can also grab GTA: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition, GTA: Chinatown Wars, and GTA: Liberty City Stories now via their GTA+ membership. The games are playable for as long as your GTA+ membership is active or until they rotate out of the catalog.

Additionally, GTA+ members get 20% off the purchase price of titles in the library if they decide to buy them outright. GTA+ memberships cost $6/month, and there is no multi-month or yearly package available.

Looking ahead, GTA 6 is in the works. It's reportedly targeting a Fall 2025 release, but could slip to 2026.
