Any game headlined by a certifiably psychotic megalomaniac has the undeniable potential to be a crowd pleaser, and that goes doubly so for EALA's Command & Conquer series of real-time strategy games. With the reveal last August that the first expansion to 2007's Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars would focus on notoriously creepy underworld kingpin Kane, more than a few fans of the series were pleased to hear actor Joe Kucan would be heading a ranging cast in his role as the titular villain in Kane's Wrath.

Intensity isn't ever not an option for Joe Kucan.

Today, EA sends word that Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath has cemented its invasion plans and will ship out for PCs on March 26. The publisher also noted that the Xbox 360 version of the game, which will include exclusive content, will arrive later this summer.

As noted in GameSpot's extensive coverage, Kane's Wrath will feature 13 new missions that will act to further flesh out the Tiberium Wars universe. The expansion will also introduce six new subfactions, with two being added to each of the game's primary factions: the absolutist Global Defense Initiative, the shadowy Brotherhood of Nod, and the alien Scrin. Each faction will also benefit from a variety of new units.

As has become fashionable within the industry as of late, EALA will also be packing in a beta key for an advance look at C&C spin-off RTS Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. It was unclear whether the beta period would begin alongside the launch of Kane's Wrath, and EA had not responded to requests for comment as of press time.

Announced in February, Red Alert 3 features the one-off series' hallmark style of sinister humor playing out in an alternate timeline, where Soviet brass tinkering with time travel set off a chain of events that see a dominant Japanese Empire at odds with the European-American Alliance and the Soviet Union in a three-way WWIII.
