Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 rang in at number one on the PC Data top-selling games list for the month of November 2000. The real-time strategy game from Westwood was released in late October but still managed to take ninth place despite being on the shelves for only slightly more than a week. In November the sales pace continued, pushing the game past the previous top-seller, The Sims: Livin' Large, also published by Electronic Arts. Roller Coaster Tycoon from Hasbro Interactive also continues its phenomenal selling streak, jumping from number four in October to number two in November as holiday sales picked up. The theme-park management game grabbed the top spot in one of PC Data's weekly sales charts in mid-November, despite having been released more than 18 months ago. Electronic Arts gobbled up the next three spots on the monthly list, with number three going to virtual-life game The Sims, number four going to The Sims: Livin' Large, and number five going to the franchise cousin Sim Theme Park.
