Rayman 3 HD hits XBL, PSN March 21
Ubisoft's high-def downloadable revamp coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next month; updated audio, 60fps visuals included.
Rayman Origins launched in November for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but Ubisoft isn't letting the series rest for long. Next month, gamers will have another Rayman game to play.
A tweet from Ubisoft reveals that Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc HD will launch on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network on March 21. Previously, the game was scheduled to arrive for those platforms sometime this spring.
Ubisoft did not mention a price for the game, and as of press time, the publisher had not responded to GameSpot's request for comment.
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc HD is a high-definition rerelease of Ubisoft's 2003 3D platformer. That game was released on the Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation 2, and PC, and it featured a more combat-centric approach than the series had previously adopted, as well as unlockable minigames.
For the HD rerelease, Ubisoft is updating the audio and tweaking the game to run at 60 frames per second, in addition to adding achievements/trophies and online leaderboards.
