Rainbow Six Siege Beta Starts in September
Beta release window and further details revealed during Ubisoft's E3 2015 press briefing.
The beta for Rainbow Six Siege will begin on September 24, Ubisoft announced on Monday as part of its E3 2015 press briefing in Los Angeles.
That date applies to all versions of the game: PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
The Rainbow Six Siege beta will include both PvP and the newly announced TerroHunt mode.
Rainbow Six Siege launches in full on October 13.
Also during Ubisoft's E3 briefing today, the publisher confirmed that actress Angela Bassett will appear in the game, playing the role of a character named Six. She's the deputy director of the Rainbow Six counter-terrorism unit.
Ubisoft has high hopes for for the upcoming shooter, recently saying it believes Rainbow Six Siege has the potential to become the best-selling shooter in the company's history, surpassing Far Cry 4.
