The version of Quantum Break coming to Steam will include "all of the latest updates," Microsoft said in a news release. Quantum Break's Steam version and the Timeless Collector's Edition will sell for $40.

Nordic Games is publishing the retail version of Quantum Break. The company previously worked with Microsoft on physical PC versions of Alan Wake, Ori and the Blind Forest, and State of Decay.

"Apart from being a new IP (which is always a brave step), Quantum Break turned out to be a sophisticated, visually stunning shooter with a top-notch cast of actors," Nordic Games executive Reinhard Pollice said in a statement.

The Timeless Collector's Edition includes the following content:

  • Premium packaging
  • 5 game discs (one-time Steam key redemption required)
  • Making of Blu-Ray
  • Making of Book
  • 1 Soundtrack CD (Audio-CD)
  • 2 Posters
  • Quickstart Guide

Quantum Break originally launched in April for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. The announcement of the Steam version today comes after Xbox boss Phil Spencer said more Steam releases of Microsoft-published games were on the way.
