Deep Silver and inXile Entertainment have launched a new trailer for Wasteland 2: Director's Cut, the upcoming enhanced version of the 2014 role-playing game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Appropriately titled "Welcome to the Wasteland," the video splices together live-action clips with gameplay footage. It's meant to capture the overall story and atmosphere for the game. Watch it below.

The Wasteland 2: Director's Cut sports "overhauled" graphics, updated and expanded voiceovers, as well as gameplay enhancements and the introduction of new features.

In terms of gameplay, console players may be happy to learn that UI and controls have been overhauled to support controllers. In addition, inXile has added new "Precision Strike" and "Perk & Traits" systems, while console players can also look forward to tweaks to combat and balancing.

PC players aren't being left out, however, as these updates are included with the free Wasteland 2 Game of the Year Edition upgrade. The Director's Cut launches on October 13.
