PS4 System Update 2.51 Rolls Out

Patch notes outline various stability improvements.

Sony has begun rolling out a new system software update to PlayStation 4, bringing with it various tweaks and improvements to the previous firmware build.

The console update weighs about 245MB, and should now be available to PS4 owners across North America and Europe. Brief patch notes, copied below, suggest that the new update will implement minor fixes.

  • System software stability during use of some features has been improved.
  • Operation quality during use of some applications has been improved.

One bug that some users discovered back in March, where a notification informing players about Rest mode would continually pop up when the console turned on, has not been fixed.

@banicabolnica@persenaama78: his point is the modern games that you see on consoles, cannot be compatiable with the newer computers unless you buy a 5,000 dollars computer. that was his point because of the windows flaw, PC is good, but it's not as big in the gaming world, consoles has it on a lockdown, son.

@chriscoutinho10: Bro it is not just the light the controller has Bluetooth built in an from what I've heard and that is destroying the controller and it's built in battery and plus the light the more controller that die fast the more money they'll make from accessories.

I have to admit, that does sound extremely annoying. I have a suggestion for you; buy the CronusMax. The ChronusMax lets you use a PS3 controller for the PS4. It even lets you can use an XBOX360 or XBXOXONE controller for your PS4, and vice versa. Just Google ChronusMax.
