PS2 Will Have Hardcore at Launch

Tecmo has confirmed that Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore will be released alongside the launch of the Sony PlayStation 2 on October 26. Also, the company explained that the English voice-overs in the game were recorded in San Francisco and were added to the game this week. However, the original Japanese voices and phrases, with English subtitles, will also be available as an option in the US release of the game.

Naturally, the company will support the game's release with an extensive ad campaign, the first leg of which is composed of print ads that will begin appearing in gaming publications shortly.
