DreamCatcher Interactive has announced that Project Earth, its first real-time strategy game, is complete and will ship to stores next month. The game lets players command the forces of one of three playable races on a series of missions in a 3D outer space environment.

Project Earth features detailed ship models, advanced visual and sound effects, and an easy-to-use interface. It also includes a number of unusual elements for real-time strategy games, such as warp gates and black holes that let players engage in battle in up to three separate planes at the same time and a research tree that lets players choose between two options for each technology advancement.

Project Earth was developed by Lemon Interactive, and it is scheduled for release in early May. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
