Pokémon Invade Fort Knox

Nintendo has announced that it will hold the official launch celebration for the release of Pokemon Gold and Silver at the Fort Knox US Armory Center in Keyes Park, Kentucky. Pikachu, with official military escort, will be releasing the Pokemon Gold and Silver official cartridges. Hundreds of kids from Kentucky will take part and will be the first consumers to play Pokemon Gold and Silver. Nintendo has also planned a parade and children's activities, which include face painting, sing-alongs, Pokemon adventure training, and much more.

The Pokemon event will take place on October 10 from 10am to 2pm. The Gold and Silver games will be released on October 15.
