To be the best, like no one ever was, you're going to want to catch every Pokemon DVD and Blu-ray, and a new release has just popped out of the tall grass! Pokemon: The Arceus Chronicles (DVD) is now available to preorder on Amazon ahead of its release on February 27, and it's discounted to $15 (down from $20).

Collected from the Pokemon Journeys series, the Arceus Chronicles is a four-episode storyline that ties into the Pokemon Legends: Arceus game. Set in the Sinnoh region--first introduced in the games Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum--Ash and Goh discover a new plot by Team Galactic to rescue their boss Cyrus from the other world he was trapped on. Ash and Goh reunite with familiar allies Dawn and Cynthia. Several legendary Pokemon make an appearance, and the action heats up in this fun little adventure.

The DVD release doesn't have any noteworthy extras--and it's a Japanese dub with English subtitles--but if you're a collector of physical Pokemon media or want to keep the young Pokemon fans in your house entertained, it could be a good option. Arceus Chronicles is just one of many physical releases of Pokemon anime. You can save big on a wide selection of other Pokemon anime on DVD and Blu-ray. Here's a look at some of the best Pokemon anime deals at Amazon (Blu-ray deals are bolded):

For something more huggable, don't miss out on these new Pokemon Squishmallows at Amazon. You can wrap your arms around adorable Clefairy and Teddiursa collectibles, and they're priced at $30 each. Other Pokemon Squishmallows are also available, including Snorlax, Gengar, Piplup, Togepii, and several Pikachu variants.
