"This holiday season, we're excited to introduce the Postcard Book!" the developer said. "Whenever a Trainer sends a gift, a postcard from that location is also attached based on the Pokéstop location that gift was from."

In order to access the Postcard Book, players can go to their Item Bag or their Trainer profile. To pin postcards from gifts sent by friends, players can view the item in their Trainer profiles and simply tap the pin icon. Players can also pin postcards from their own gifts by viewing them in their Item Bag and then selecting the postcard they want to pin.

The collection can be viewed by the date the player received them, as well as by who sent them. The postcards can also be hidden in the privacy settings if players wish.

Pokemon Go's next seasonal update, Winter Holiday, is scheduled to go live on December 16 and will run through to New Year's Eve. The event will feature Ice-Type Pokemon more frequently, including Cryogonal and Snorunt, along with special Holiday-themed Pokemon such as Holiday Cubchoo and Holiday Glaceon. Part 2 of the Winter Holiday will begin on December 23 at 10 AM local time and will also end on New Year's Eve.
