Pokemon Bank Now Available For Sun And Moon

An update for the Pokemon Bank application that adds compatibility with Sun and Moon is now available on the 3DS eShop.

In addition to the update, all Pokemon Bank subscribers can receive a special Z-Crystal, Mewnium Z, that only Mew can use in battle. You can redeem the item through Mystery Gift.

Pokemon Bank allows you to deposit and transfer Pokemon from multiple games, including from a previous generation up to a more current one. With the update, you'll be able to transfer Pokemon from X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire to Sun and Moon via the Pokemon Bank app. You can use companion app Poke Transporter to transfer Pokemon from the Virtual Console versions of Red, Blue, and Yellow to Pokemon Bank and from there to Sun and Moon.

Pokemon Bank requires a $5-per-year subscription.
