No Caption Provided It's another busy week on the PlayStation Network, as Sony welcomes a host of new content to its virtual storefront, ranging from Fancy Pants Adventure to Final Fantasy IV.

Leading the pack this week is Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection ($30). The combo pack includes Final Fantasy IV--with revamped visuals to take advantage of the PSP's widescreen format--as well as its epilogue, Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. The episodic series of downloadable titles was originally released in 2009 on the Wii; this will mark the first time it has been available as part of a retail product.

Final Fantasy fans can grab the Complete Collection today.
Final Fantasy fans can grab the Complete Collection today.

Also out now is The Fancy Pants Adventures ($10) for the PlayStation 3. An action adventure game published by Electronic Arts, the title has players adventuring from left to right in a 2D world, stomping enemies along the way. The game also sports a multiplayer component, where up to four gamers can either compete against each other or work together.

Though it's now spring, gamers looking to bundle up can download the Prince of Persia Classic Trilogy HD ($40). Ubisoft's Prince of Persia combo includes 2003's The Sands of Time, 2004's Warrior Within, and 2005's The Two Thrones. All three games benefit from an HD remastering, as well as new stereoscopic 3D visuals.

Other new games out now in the PS3 storefront include 2D fighting game Arcana Heart 3 ($30), adventure game Neutopia ($6), Telltale Games' Puzzle Agent ($10), Sonic the Hedgehog 2 ($5), and Puzzle Guzzle ($6).

Those looking to the past for their excitement can download two new PSOne Classics this week, the first of which is Dino Crisis 2 ($6). The other game added to the nostalgic download space is Threads of Fate ($6).

Gamers looking to try before they buy this week can grab a sampler for the upcoming tennis simulator, Virtua Tennis 4. The game--which supports Sony's Move controller--is due out in full on May 10.

A full list of the week's deals and new PlayStation Store content, including themes, wallpapers, demos, discounts, and add-on content, is available on the PlayStation Blog.

I'd planned on getting a new PSP for a roadtrip I have planned next month; games like Vagrant Story, FFXIII and FFIX, and Parasite Eve were must-haves, along with FFIV Complete... but with the troubles Sony is having right now, I'm feeling a little uneasy about picking one up now over a 3DS, I'm afraid. Hope they get their issues with the network straightened out soon; I'm no fanboy, but I've never had an issue with a Sony system up to now.

@blackace: If you have a flash drive, memory stick, sd card you can copy game saves onto those. You may have to get several of one of these to copy everything from your drive. Patches and demos and stuff though, you'll have to download them all over again but I just commanded my PS3 to do such while I was at school and installed things while doing something else. If you have any copy protected data you may want to transfer over, you'll have to get PS+ to back it up. Personally I had gotten to DNA sequence 2 in Assassin's Creed 2 before realizing the game had copy protected saves. So I simply quit playing it until I got ready to change out the drive. PS+ was not out with cloud save when I got the drive for my birthday at the time, but I hadn't gotten so far that I'd be annoyed at starting over. Personally if you are backing up PS2 saves, I recommend using a memory card adapter to copy data to your memory cards so when you change the drive you can easily copy the entire card. I only had two memory cards though and I was lucky enough to snag a never-been-used-in-a-beat-up-box Sony adapter from gamestop; last one in like, the whole city. You can copy these to portable memory as well. If you have any video content downloaded from the Store for free (I once downloaded a free episode of Trigun), your only option is to copy it to a detected PSP or you'll lose it forever. I recommend a Seagate Momentus ST Solid State Hybrid drive. Makes me love my b/c PS3 even more. The easiest way to transfer ALL data is to connect two PS3 systems together but this is assuming you don't have two PS3s. I hope this helps. :)

@Spacerac @blackace upgrade it. You won't be sorry. I took out my drive and put in a 500gb drive, not only do games load faster but I don't have to bug about space anymore. Just $150 bucks. ************************************************************** Is it easy to copy the data from the old drive to the new drive?

As much as I love Sonic 2. I already own the original for the Megadrive, the port onto PS2, Sony Ericsson and Nintendo DS. I really can't justify buying it again. Sorry SEGA.

@Rayzakk Ign and Gamespot and other critics and gamers would criticize Square enix if they went to 2d. But who knows we'll see it would be nice if they made another 2d final fantasy though

Anyone else think FF4 seems easier? Some of the world map also seems just slightly smaller of course this is based off memory. The maps could seem smaller because of the widescreen format and the graphic update for 2D looks beautiful on the psp. Easily the best game Square has released in ages. I just wish they would go back to making 2D turnbased rpgs for the consoles whether it be as retail discs, XBL, or PSN. It's also free of the lag I get in the 3rd Birthday even with the disc install, however I wonder if it's because of the small card I use with it. It really does take me out of the experience when the cutscenes lag up.

I'd re-buy this, for the third time, any day. It's much better than XIII.

I already picked up FF4 Complete for the PSP. It should be cheaper for the DL. i do want Prince of Persia Trilogy, but I was the retail version and not the DL one. I only have 60GB HDD for my PS3. I have no plans on upgrading it anytime soon.

Wow, still charging $30 for FF4. Amazing. It is a very fun game though. I have it for SNES, Gameboy Advance and the DS.
