PlayStation Plus Free Games of July 2015 for PS4, PS3, and Vita

PlayStation 4 owners get four free games this month, including Rocket League and Entwined.

Sony on Wednesday announced the free games PlayStation Plus members can download in July, which, like last month, includes a total of four titles for PlayStation 4 owners. The highlight, arguably, is the soccer-with-vehicles game Rocket League, which will support cross-platform play with the PC edition.

Meanwhile, a total of three PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita games will be available for PlayStation Plus members on those platforms, including titles like Entwined, Geometry Wars 3, and Rain.

These games will be available for free on Tuesday, July 7, replacing the existing set of freebies for June. If you haven't already downloaded June's games, you have until then to do so.

@rosinmonkekyx17: It's not so much about the games as it is that Sony is ripping us off yet again. Back when PS+ first came out, I paid for it because it offered a great value. Now that they force a PS+ membership to play online, I expect the same quality, if not better, from PS+. They should either keep PSN free as before, or keep giving us the same quality premium PS+ service they did before.

@chronogos: You do get 6 games for $50 a year. But I do wish they give you choices on your subscription such as paying less if you don't want access to free games.

What crap hell give me something decent for 50 bucks a year used to get at least one good game. Im still get access the store maitance bs just bought Ff14. Cant use the code and I saw what ask playstation said on Twitter yea. Its my router. My have to invest in. Decent pc.

@northwestguy66: Yes you got amazing games at the end of the consoles life cycle. They can't give you AAA games yet it is not cost effective.

I'm shocked that Rocket League is a freebie... I'd be willing to pay the full £40 for this £14.99 release, the beta was ridiculously addictive, I think that so many people will enjoy it - even though not many people know about it 'yet'.

Rocket League is one of the most addictive and fun multiplayers I've played in a long time. It is the type of game one would usually associate with Nintendo. The word of mouth around this game is phenomenal, and that's something your high production values can't buy. If some people can't see past the fact that it isn't a triple A, or that it is an 'indie', then that is really their loss.

Personally I think the whole PS4 lineup looks good. Not everyone will agree, obviously, but for my family it's a good mix for the gamers we've got.

free xbox games are usually old games that everyone has already bought or played that noone cares about anymore plus theres more games on ps+ free games then there are xbox free games

@awesomeman204: Yeah but you get to actually keep the game. As soon as your PSN sub expires, all your games are gone. Xbox Games with Gold are actually carried to the next generation and are kept even if you don't pay for Gold any longer.

Everyone forgets that Microsoft offered Pool Nation FX for 3 months straight. At least Sony switches the games up. Also, Rocket league (the beta) gave me the best experience, and most fun, of any game this year. Excited for that
