PS4, PC Players Can Play Online Together in Rocket League
PS4 players will also have access to Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal.
Upcoming soccer-with-vehicles game Rocket League will offer cross-platform multiplayer when it launches next month, allowing players on PS4 and PC to play together online.
Cross-platform multiplayer across PC and consoles is a real rarity; Shadowrun, Final Fantasy XI, and, more recently, Final Fantasy XIV have been among the only games to allow it. Rocket League will be the next, and following that, PS4 will add another game to that list when Street Fighter V launches.

Rocket League is the follow-up to PS3 game Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars. It recently went through a closed beta on PS4, and is now due out on July 7 on both the console and PC.
Those who pick it up on PS4 will get an exclusive bonus, as iconic Twisted Metal character Sweet Tooth will be playable. You can briefly see the vehicle in action in the new trailer above and in the screenshots below.
