PlayStation Plus Free Games of July 2015 for PS4, PS3, and Vita

PlayStation 4 owners get four free games this month, including Rocket League and Entwined.

Sony on Wednesday announced the free games PlayStation Plus members can download in July, which, like last month, includes a total of four titles for PlayStation 4 owners. The highlight, arguably, is the soccer-with-vehicles game Rocket League, which will support cross-platform play with the PC edition.

Meanwhile, a total of three PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita games will be available for PlayStation Plus members on those platforms, including titles like Entwined, Geometry Wars 3, and Rain.

These games will be available for free on Tuesday, July 7, replacing the existing set of freebies for June. If you haven't already downloaded June's games, you have until then to do so.

Let me tell you why sony did this to you all. Because you all ran out to the store to buy the system and now that you have they have you hooked. if you all anted to stop this you could have a long time ago, by boycotting sony the way you tried to boycott microsoft. but instead you praised a company that doesn't even care about half of it user base.

FYI, none of the three big companies have even cared about you at some point during the generations especially if they are in the lead. I liked Sony as I wrote in a previous comment, but I also said that I don't like this PS Plus because I have noticed the drop in quality of these games, but I don't talk trash if I don't even support another company. I don't defend a company either because I'm not a tool. I am a consumer.

@rosinmonkekyx17: They can't exactly put a AAA on every month? The only time Sony did this for the PS4 was with Infamous: First Light, which was a DLC anyway. The X1 has had Rayman Legends and now Ass Creed. They really need to step it up with the PS4. I know the PS3 usually always gets a decent game, same with Vita, but the last two months have been a bit dire.

@Mirimon78: What are those exactly? I've only had 2 (well actually one and a half) - Injustice and a DLC of a AAA game; First Light.

As someone who has both consoles, I know PS Plus usually wipes the floor with GwG, but only across the whole PS ecosystem (including PS3 and Vita), but they need to start offering a triple A game at least every other month for the PS4.

@domiddian: I hate referencing wikipedia, but it does have a solid list of ps plus titles to date, separated by platform but only for NA. (There was a time when the monthly ps plus titles for NA were different from the EU offered titles, and some of us simply found ways of getting them all, ending up with as many as 9 games for our consoles that month. Now the regions are generally unified in content.)

Man another garbage month for PS+ this is why I allowed my subscription to lapse. Meanwhile over on the Xbox One I'm downloading Assassins Creed IV Blackflag you know an actual game. So long as Xbox keeps releasing actual games for download I'll keep my Xbox Live sub up to date.

@Marky360: oh look! A Game that's almost 2 years old that I have already played! I like PS+ a lot more. It offers more games per month and most of the time games I haven't played yet. BTW, Rocket League is just awesome! Countless hours spent on Super Sonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars.

And I still get free games for the Vita.
