@jmeyer2039 I guess it's all about how you look at it. For me, I could see MS with the old XB1 policies eventually turning it into something like Steam, but the DRM muddied up that vision (bad leadership/marketing). Then when that route no longer looked promising, they flip-flopped. Not the best move, but they listened to the consumers not wanting such a change (aka listened to their wallets lol).

I'm just tired of seeing the immature gamers troll anything that isn't 100% positive when it comes to MS and their XB1 (and they sometimes try when it is too). Real gamers would be happy that this competition is going strong, and not b*tching about everything that isn't their preferred console...

@JBStone1981 @m4a5 @green_scorpion @jmeyer2039 Neither console has offered me anything compelling beyond the promise of fun games in 2014 (not interested in any launch titles). I have no desire to utilize the cameras, voice commands, or other entertainment features of either device. I am already fulfilled in that area with my TV, cable box, laptop, and smartphone.

@green_scorpion @m4a5 @jmeyer2039 You buy consoles PRIMARILY for games. Most consoles--even ones today--do more than that. Netflix is watched on PS3 more than any other device, for example. Entertainment beyond games is a valid and important part of any home entertainment device, and especially consoles.
