PES 2020 Update Adds Iconic Moment Series; Full Patch Notes Included

eFootball PES 2020 is celebrating the football sim's 25th anniversary with a new update and the introduction of the Iconic Moment Series to fantasy team-building mode, MyClub. In addition to numerous bug fixes in update 1.09, Data Pack 5.0 includes over 30 new and updated player faces, plus a special kit for a German team celebrating its 120th anniversary.

The Iconic Moment Series is an ongoing showcase of memorable matches produced by the sport's biggest stars, both past and present. Each Iconic Moment player commemorates a specific game from their illustrious career, with every player card featuring an image from that match and attributes to mirror their skillset during that period. Matching an Iconic Moment player with their affiliated team will also give them a stat boost.

If you hop onto PES 2020 now, you'll receive a free Iconic Moment Series Legend version of Diego Maradona, commemorating his performance in the 1983 Spanish Cup Final for Barcelona. After this, the rest of the players will need to be unlocked by completing in-game campaigns or by spending MyClub coins to hopefully earn one in a box draw.

Aside from this, Data Pack 5.0 adds over 30 new and updated player faces largely found across European clubs. The likes of Achraf Hakimi, Reece James, and Todd Cantwell have been updated, along with multiple players from RCD Mallorca. You can also play as FC Bayern München in a new 120th-anniversary kit.

Relive and recreate memorable moments from the careers of current and former soccer superstars with the new 'Iconic Moment Series.'
Players in this series come with boosted stats that reflect their performance during a standout match in their career. Their cards even feature unique designs based on photos taken during that same match.
In addition, these players come with a unique feature that allows you to boost their stats even further by matching their affiliated team to your own in myClub.
