Persona 5 is set for a 2016 release in Japan, though it looks like it won't head to western markets until next year. The follow-up to Persona 4 has been slated for release on February 14, 2017, meaning it launches in the US almost five months after Japan.

The date was announced in a press release alongside the "Take Your Heart" Premium Edition, which is exclusive to the PS4 version. It comes with a 64-page hardcover art book, a four-inch plush figurine of Phantom Thieves member Morgana, and the soundtrack on CD. People who purchase the collector's edition also get a steelbook case, a full-size Shujin Academy school bag, and a themed box to keep it all together. The Premium Edition costs $89.99, and you can check it out in the gallery below.

Director Katsura Hashino talked about Persona 5's characters last year and said they don't fit in with society, but they're brought together by a common goal after discovering a special item.
