Parks And Rec Cast Are Getting Back Together--In Character--For A Reunion Special
Coming April 30.
The cast of NBC's beloved workplace comedy Parks and Recreation are reuniting for a one-off special to help raise money for ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts.
The 30-minute special will feature the main cast who will appear in character. The show--"A Parks and Recreation Special"--is scheduled to air on Thursday, April 30 at 8:30 PM on NBC.
Cast members set to return for the reunion include Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, Jim O'Heir, and Marietta Sangai Sirleaf, who is better known as Retta. Other characters from the Pawnee extended universe will also appear in the show, and we can only hope Andy Samberg's Ranger Carl is among them.
NBC said in a press release, "Pawnee’s most dedicated civil servant, Leslie Knope [Poehler], is determined to stay connected to her friends in a time of social distancing."
