The full trailer for Paranormal Activity: Next Of Kin has been released. The latest movie in the hugely successful found footage horror series hits Paramount+ on October 29.

While last month's first teaser didn't really tells us any plot details, this longer promo finally reveals what the movie is about. A documentary filmmaker named Margot heads to a remote Amish community to find out the truth about her long-lost mother and her family. But inevitably she uncovers something much darker than she was expecting.

The trailer delivers some intense and creepy moments, like a woman using a potato peeler on her hand and a two-headed goat. And in keeping with tradition with Paranormal Activity, there are plenty of night vision moments leading up to jump scares. Check it out below:

Paranormal Activity: Next Of Kin is directed by Will Eubank, who previously made 2020's aquatic monster movie Underwater. It's written by Christopher Landon, who wrote parts 3, 4, and 5, and served as director on both Happy Death Day movies (and writer on the second). The cast includes Emily Bader (Charmed), Roland Buck III (Chicago Med), Tom Nowicki (The Dark and the Wicked), Gunner Wright (Underwater), and Kyli Zion (Gotham).

A feature-length documentary titled Unknown Dimension: The Story of Paranormal Activity will also be available on Paramount+ from October 29. The documentary will explore the history of the franchise, with interviews and previously unseen footage.

Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin was originally set for a theatrical release in March 2022 but was brought forward for a Halloween premiere on Paramount+. Paramount is developing a number of other movies directly for its streaming platform, including a prequel to the 2017 Stephen King adaptation Pet Sematary.
