Palworld: Misty Has A Gun In This Pokemon Mod

The same person behind Toy Story characters fighting in Mortal Kombat 1 has apparently put Ash and Pikachu into the surprise-hit survival game.

It's no secret that Palworld is heavily influenced by Pokemon, specifically regarding the creatures that reside in the game's world. So one modder decided to just go ahead and add Pikachu, Torchic, and Piplup to the survival game.

YouTuber ToastedShoes teased a Pokemon mod for Palworld on X (formerly known as Twitter) with a short trailer seen below. The main character becomes Ash instead of custom created, with Pikachu seen mining resources as one point. There is also Misty wielding a gun, with Ash rocking a bow and arrow.

ToastedShoes is no stranger to modding big-name games. In fact, earlier this month the Australian added Disney characters to Mortal Kombat 1. Toy Story's Woody rips apart Monsters, Inc.'s Sulley at one point, and it's as disturbingly hilarious as it sounds.

Meanwhile, Palworld has already sold over 5 million copies since launching into Early Access on Steam and Game Preview on Xbox as well as Windows PC on January 19. The survival game is also available on Xbox Game Pass.

The internet has had quite the reaction to Palworld so far--it's dominating many discussions online--as people talk about the title's smashing success and accuse it of ripping off Pokemon assets. As for those ignoring that to actually play the survival game, GameSpot has a Palworld guides hub to help.
