Orange and green DSi bundles arriving Friday
Nintendo announces new $150 system packs debuting on unofficial start to holiday shopping season; Mario Party DS included.
This Friday is Black Friday in the United States, the unofficial start to the holiday 2010 shopping season. It's a day where retailers nationwide hack and slash prices on products to draw consumers to their stores. Nintendo is adding color to Black Friday by offering orange and green DSi bundles.
Beginning Friday, November 26, green and orange DSi bundles will debut at retailers nationwide for $150. The packs will contain the system and a copy of Mario Party DS. According to Nintendo, the systems will be available "while supplies last."
The announcement comes following specialty retailer GameStop's leaked Black Friday marketing material, which showed both bundles and the above price point.
Nintendo is also offering Mario Anniversary bundles this holiday season. The $199 red Wii bundle includes a system and a copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The $180 DSi XL bundle comes with a themed system, as well as a physical copy of Mario Kart DS. It also includes preloaded software Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Math and Photo Clock.
