Old Navy giving away New Super Mario Bros. U on Black Friday
Clothing retailer rewarding early shoppers with free copy of Nintendo's new Mario platformer with $40 purchase.
American clothing store Old Navy is not the retailer one might expect to hold a game-focused promotion, but that is indeed the case. The retailer has announced that it will give away copies of New Super Mario Bros. U to early shoppers on Black Friday (November 23).
The promotion, however, is not without its caveats and limitations. Those who wish to score a free copy of New Super Mario Bros. U will need to be at least 16 years old and near the front of the line at Old Navy prior to its opening at midnight on Friday, November 23.
Old Navy associates will hand out wristbands good for a copy of the game, starting at the front of the line, and quantities will be "extremely limited." Additionally, those who do receive a wristband will need to spend $40 or more at Old Navy to receive a copy of New Super Mario Bros. U.
New Super Mario Bros. U is one of the Wii U's 23 launch titles that will debut with the system when it arrives this weekend in North America.
