The PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PS4 versions of Octopath Traveler II are discounted to only $40 at Amazon. PC players can get the stellar RPG for even less at Green Man Gaming. Octopath Traveler II, which is down to $36 for GMG XP members (free rewards program) is just one of a handful of excellent role-playing and strategy games included in GMG's Summer Sale.

In case you haven't heard of this series from Square Enix, Octopath Traveler II is an old-school RPG that mixes classic gameplay influences from the NES and SNES eras with fantastic HD-2D visuals. It looks both modern and retro in its design, and it has a wealth of content to experience as you explore the lives of several characters. Like the first game, Octopath Traveler II has a deep Final Fantasy-style class and customization system mixed with non-linear exploration, which is influenced by other JRPG heavyweights such as the SaGa and Bravely Default series.
