Nintendo Switch's Mario Golf: Super Rush To Receive Free Updates Post-Launch
The announcement was made during the Nintendo E3 2021 Direct presentation.
Mario's latest trip to the links will not end at launch, as Nintendo has announced free updates will come to Mario Golf: Super Rush after its release this month.
The announcement was made during the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct in a trailer highlighting the different features coming to the game at launch. The presentation referenced "new courses and playable characters" being part of the free updates, while showing a round of Speed Golf being played on a course resembling New Donk City from Super Mario Odyssey. The video did not specify when this new content would become available.
The trailer also recapped the different modes that will be available in Mario Golf: Super Rush at launch. Standard Golf is a normal round of golf, while Speed Golf sees all players swinging their clubs at once in a mad dash to the hole. Finally, there's Battle Golf, a unique course with nine holes where the first player to collect three flags wins.
Mario Golf: Super Rush is due to launch June 25 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
