Nintendo Store Update: Final Fantasy III

@Gothic-360: There's already a fantastic port of Chrono Trigger for the DS. Just get that. I think it's only $20, maybe less.

chrono trigger for the 3DS.. thats all Im asking for xmas..

Going to download FFIII, but FFVI advance is the definitive version of the game.

@Superzone Yes, For the SNES/Super Famicom, the FFV was only released in Japan. We discovered WHY they didn't port it much later when they released it as part of FF: Anthology in '99. I might pick up Kirby's Dream Land one day. I played the second one, but never the original. I guess Kirby can't use enemy powers in that game, but I think he can still inhale stuff. @Vambran Where did you hear this? Was it announced?

@superokamifan21: I'm no Final Fantasy expert, but wasn't FFV only release in Japan for the SNES?

Final fantasy 5 and 6 will be remade ( Not ports ) for the 3DS. Might want to buy that instead.

I've still got Kirby's Dream Land in its original cartridge form :) But I'm still going to download it on my 3DS, because that's how awesome that game is.

GREAT now I love to see nintendo release double dragon 2, double dragon 3 and contra from the NES for the Wii store that would make my year dont know why they would release double dragon and not 2 and 3, they have super c and contra 3 but not contra, that doesnt make any since to me.

I honestly can't think of any good reason for not bringing Last Story to the States. Well, FFVI is still awesome.

Finally, one of the greatest RPG's (if not the best) of all time gets released on the VC, Nintendo, it took you a while but at least you did it.

Great game, last time I played through it was on the PS1 version--it had a few cut-scenes and stuff to sharpen it up a little. I believe FFV was also on the same disc.

Awesome, FF3 and Chrono Trigger is all i want.

I don't really like gameboy games on the virtual console. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's just that it's too strange for me to play a game in black-and-white on my 3DS! lol But I respect people who like to buy them, it's just my personal choice. But GBC games, they kick ass! Bring 'em on!

I still haven't forgiven you for Xenoblade or The Last Story, Nintendo, but thank you for putting both Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy III on VC. :)

@Darth_Nater307, If Chrono Trigger is available, that should be your first choice. It's by far better than any of the FF games. Having said that, I would also get FFV, VI or VII. That was probably the golden age of the series. Kefka and Sephiroth were probably two of the best villains ever.

good news but an updated remake on the 3ds would be much better since i think its the best 2d final fantasy ever made.
