A spokesperson for Nintendo stated today that Game Boy Advance demonstration units could be sent to US retailers as early as April for in-store use. Additionally, in Japan, three possible new colors for the Game Boy Advance have been released including white, clear, and purple. Nintendo will also hold a retailer's tradeshow on January 16 in Japan to unveil Super Mario Advance and F-Zero for the Game Boy Advance.

Reportedly, the Game Boy Advance will launch in the US with two or three available colors, similar to the launch of the Game Boy Color. The final launch colors will be announced at E3 in May. On a side note, a spokesperson for Nintendo also stated that both the Game Boy Advance and the GameCube are on target for their respective July and October US release dates.
