The Descent will be available in under a week, on August 11, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. As previously announced, Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC is no longer coming to last-generation consoles.
Pricing for The Descent was not announced.
Dragon Age: Inquisition's first expansion, Jaws of Hakkon, was somewhat controversial in that it launched first on Xbox One and PC through a timed-exclusivity arrangement with Microsoft.
The other piece of Dragon Age: Inquisition news today is that it's now available in EA Access on Xbox One, meaning all subscribers can play it for free. With its arrival, the EA Access library of free games rises to thirteen. Others include FIFA 15, Titanfall, and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare.
EA Access is currently only available on Xbox One. A subscription costs $5/month or $30/year. Other perks include discounts on EA digital content and early access to upcoming games.
