New videos for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild have appeared, showing off its impressive weather effects, a number of areas in the game world, and activities such as cooking. The videos seem to be unlisted on Nintendo's official YouTube page, but links to them have been found and posted online.

The first video shows off a serene green field, but the weather slowly takes a turn for the worse, first with a shower of rain, and then with a full blown thunderstorm. There's also a look at the day and night cycle.

The second video is focused on exploration and the game world. We get to see link running around crumbled cathedrals, climb trees, leap into lakes, and sail around using a makeshift raft. The paragliding and shield-surfing we saw at E3 2016 are also in the video, and the music is pretty special.

The third video is more combat focused, with Link using his trusty bow and arrows to take out enemies from a distance, getting up close to do damage with a club, and taking on a giant stone golem with bombs. He also takes a break to do some cooking, which involves hunting boars, catching fish, chopping down a tree to start a fire, and then putting all his ingredients into a pot. It looks like there's going to be plenty to do in Breath of the Wild.

Nintendo has confirmed it will broadcast new details about its next gaming platform, codenamed NX, at 7 AM PT/10 AM ET/3 PM BST today. According to its Twitter account, it will release a three-minute trailer at that time. You can watch the NX reveal trailer here.

The NX was rumored to be a console/handheld hybrid, that will use cartridges instead of discs. Nintendo's website has update with information about its reveal event and describes the NX as its next "home" gaming system.

Nintendo has previously said NX will launch in March of 2017 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be available for it.

Breath of the Wild is coming to Wii U and NX in 2017. It remains to be seen if Breath of the Wild will be a launch title for NX or if it will be released later. Recently, a March 4 release date for the Breath of the Wild Amiibo figures showed up online, suggesting a possible release date, though this date has not been confirmed.
