Just gonna say, if you have a problem with a border wall, I invite you to remove the doors to your house. At the very least, invite anybody (no choosing, no limits) to live with you in your home...I'd be interested to see how it turns out.

It's a fun series; I've enjoyed the few hours spent with versions on both PC and console.

@casshan01: I think you're confusing what you personally don't like with what's generally unpopular.

@casshan01: Because there is a market and it is what they are good at. They are hardly "POS" games as you call them, just because you lack the mental capacity to be good at them does not make them bad (as they aren't). Stick with CoD since that seems more suitable to your low attention span.

People clearly enjoy the franchise, so why would Kalypso stop making games in the Tropico series, add over the top graphics, massive/complicated changes to the game's systems, etc.?

They may attract a few new players, but they will have added so much to the cost that it will be difficult to turn a profit. They understand that their target demographic is niche, and not mainstream.

If they don't turn a profit, the publisher, etc. may lose faith in the product and not want to continue the series if they believe it won't turn a profit in the future either.

It's better for them to keep it simple, and incrementally improve it over time as costs go down rather than go all out on the bleeding edge.

Never played a Tropico game, I think this is going to be my first one.

Nice to see a game company that has not been hi-jacked by George Soros yet. We gamers are not idiotic snowflakes who believe the USA should be dismantled. The globalists and fascists may own Hollywood, music, and the news; but we gamers are still free and independent.
