When you're in production on the fifth film in a hugely popular movie franchise based on a 30-year-old property, there isn't much need for secrecy. Even though Transformers: The Last Knight doesn't arrive until next June, there has been plenty of recent publicity, and now the movie's first poster has now been tweeted by Paramount. Check it out below:

Transformers: The Last Knight hits theaters on June 23, 2017. Mark Wahlberg returns from 2014's Transformers: Age of Extinction and will be joined by Josh Duhamel and Anthony Hopkins. Michael Bay is directing once more.

Last month, Bay released a video revealing some of the film's spectacular stuntwork. In June, he revealed the latest member of the robotic cast, an Autobot called Squeeks, which followed the new looks given to fan favourites Bumblebee and Barricade.

Paramount will be releasing a new Transformers movie every year until at least 2019. The studio has already announced release dates for the two movies following The Last Knight: Transformers 6 (expected to be a Bumblebee spinoff) is scheduled to debut on June 8, 2018, while Transformers 7 will follow on June 28, 2019.
