Amazon's horror anthology series Them debuts along with Michael B. Jordan in Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse.

Comments

Amazon Prime Video has a lot of new movies and TV shows arriving in April 2021. There are also a couple of Amazon Prime originals you'll want to check out as well, and because April is just around the corner, that means you don't have long to wait to check out the new content.

Arriving on April 9 is the new horror anthology series Them. Producer Lena Waithe (Master of None, The Chi) is teaming with writer Little Marvin for the first season, titled Covenant. The story follows a Black family who move to the Los Angeles suburbs during the 1950s. Their new neighbors don't seem exceptionally welcoming though. Of course, there are also some otherworldly threats. This first season is a 10-part series and stars Ashley Thomas (Top Boy), Deborah Ayorinde (Harriett), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), Alison Pill (Devs), and Christopher Heyerdahl (Van Helsing). Check out the first trailer below.

On April 20, fans of the Rainbow Six series have something to look forward to. Without Remorse drops that day, based on the Tom Clancy novel of the same name. Michael B. Jordan stars as CIA operative John Clark--from the Rainbow Six novel--and he and his family are attacked by assassins. While Clark survives, his wife dies, and he is on a mission for revenge. Of course, it wouldn't be a Clancy story without conspiracies, shadow governments, and twists and turns along the way. Director Stefano Sollima (Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Gomorrah) helms this movie, which also stars Jamie Bell, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Guy Pierce. Clark has appeared a few different times in Clancy films before, played by Willem Dafoe in Clear and Present Danger and Liev Schreiber in The Sum of All Fears.

Of course, there's more than original programming coming to Amazon Prime in April. You can check out movies and TV shows you may have missed. On April 1, you can check out Season 1 of the Shudder original series Creepshow, a horror series that packs in two terrifying stories in each episode. On April 7, you can check out the found footage movie Trollhunter, which is about a guy who hunts trolls for the Norwegian government.

Below, you'll find everything coming to Amazon in April. For more streaming news, check out what's coming this April to Disney+, Hulu, and Shudder.
